A Variety of Chinese Goji Berry Products Out of the Laboratory in Ningxia
Since the Chinese goji berry processing and storage of laboratory settled in Ningxia, the national goji berry engineering technology research center with the help of this platform not only developed new products, and enhance the level of goji berry processing technology, boost Ningxia goji berry industry accelerate development.
In order to improve the goji berry processing laboratory conditions for scientific research, improve the technology level of deep processing of goji berry, Ningxia Academy of Agricultural Sciences, National Engineering and technology research center of goji berry bear and implement the project of the “goji berry processing and storage conditions for laboratory construction”. The total investment is US $40 thousand, which has effectively improved the scientific research environment for storage and processing of goji berry in Ningxia, and improved the means of scientific research. On this basis, the center has undertaken a series of scientific research projects, including the study on the sulfated esterification of Goji berry polysaccharides, the drying process of Goji berry, the study of the active oxygen metabolism of Goji berry, and the study on the degradation of Goji berry polysaccharides.
As of now, the center has developed a fresh goji berry juice, goji berry fruit wine and other deep processed products, determine the goji berry fresh juice beverage production process parameters, drying technology, goji berry flower and goji berry pigment of Lycium ruthenicum pigment extraction and purification technology, goji berry leaf flavonoids extraction separation and purification technology etc..
