Mediante la&nbsp;fotos\u00edntesis se multiplica r\u00e1pidamente, pues solo necesita&nbsp;di\u00f3xido de carbono,&nbsp;agua,&nbsp;luz solar y una peque\u00f1a cantidad de&nbsp;minerales&nbsp;para reproducirse.<\/p>\n<h2>Caracter\u00edsticas de la Chlorella como alimento<\/h2>\n<p>La chlorella es una planta com\u00fan del g\u00e9nero Chlorella, tambi\u00e9n conocida como clorela.<br \/>La chlorella es un alimento ligeramente alcalino con una variedad rica y equilibrada de nutrientes: es rica en prote\u00ednas, l\u00edpidos, polisac\u00e1ridos, fibra diet\u00e9tica, vitaminas A, B, C, D y E, oligoelementos, minerales, \u00e1cido f\u00f3lico, clorofila y valiosas sustancias bioactivas.<br \/>Adem\u00e1s, la chlorella contiene uno de sus componentes m\u00e1s importantes: el factor de crecimiento de chlorella (CGF), que induce el interfer\u00f3n, estimula las defensas del organismo y act\u00faa sobre los macr\u00f3fagos y las c\u00e9lulas T y B de los tejidos inmunitarios.
